Red roses from Daily Flowers

Red is the one colour that says something specific. That makes the choice easy and the execution harder, because the number of stems shapes the message as much as the colour does.

How many red roses do you give?

Twelve is the classic. Twenty-four reads as a step up. Fifty roses and a hundred roses are statements, and both arrive with a vase, because a bunch that size does not fit what most people have at home.

One rose works too, on the right day. Below twelve the quality of the single stem carries the gesture, so a bunch of three uses the same grade of rose as a bunch of a hundred.

Fresh roses or preserved roses?

Fresh red roses hold about a week with clean water and a stem cut at an angle. Preserved roses last months. They are real roses, treated so they keep their colour and softness without water.

Preserved suits an office, a hallway, or someone who travels. Fresh suits the moment itself. If the date matters more than the duration, send fresh. Our full range of preserved roses goes beyond red.

Ordering and delivery

We deliver Monday to Friday in the Netherlands, Flanders and Brussels. Orders placed before 09:00 arrive the same day. Shipping is EUR 7,00 in the Netherlands and we drop it from EUR 50. In Flanders and Brussels it is EUR 9,95, dropped from EUR 75.

At weekends our own couriers take over and the cut-off moves to 10:00. Around Amsterdam and Utrecht we charge nothing, elsewhere in the Randstad it is EUR 9,95.
