Hydrangea care instruction

You have received our one of our hydrangea's and we would like to advise you on how to make this fabulous flower last as long as possible.

Remove the gift packaging, allowing the flowers to breathe. Do not cut the binding cord if your hydrangea flowers have been hand tied and you wish to keep them arranged as we designed them.

Maintain your Hydrangea bouquet by removing any dead or dying petals, anything that has fallen into the water will stimulate bacteria growth and shorten the vase life of your beautiful flowers. We recommend changing the water of your hydrangea's every three days. Note: Hydrangea's like warm water! preferably around 60 degrees.

Ripening fruits produce a gas called Ethylene gas. This particular gas will accelerate the blossoms of your flowers and therefore shorten their life. Don’t put your flowers anywhere near ripening fruit! Follow the hydrangea care instructions and enjoy your bouquet for a long time.

After purchase, put your Hydrangea's as soon as possible in a clean vase with water on room temperature!

Cut the stems diagonally 5 cm with a clean sharp knife or scissors.

Prevent petals from going underwater. This prevents bacteria growth

Add Chrysal heester food for vigorous flowering and cleaner water.

Keep ripening fruit away because the released gases shorten the life of your Hydrangea's.

Never mix new with old Hydrangea's.

Change the water every 3 days and preferably use a glass vase, so that contamination is visible.
