Finally time for autumn flowers. It is that time of the year again. The leaves start to fall off the trees, the weather gets a little rainier and the temperatures drop. The autumn is coming. This is an exciting time of the year because the autumn flowers are coming back. To share our knowledge with you, we have established our own top five fall flowers. We hope you can relate!

1. The sunflower

The sunflower is our absolute favorite, looking at the autumn flower collection. It grows late enough in the season to call it a fall flower. We love it, because of its form and its color. It just adds a little bit of extra color to our autumn bouquets. When the summer colors vanish the sunflower reads the summer energy once again. Therefore it is our top choice of autumn flowers.

2. Celosia

The celosia is an autumn flower that our selection cannot miss. It comes in a variety of colors. However, we prefer the yellow and orange ones to give the best fall touch to your bouquet. The flower has a soft and fluffy appearance. To add an extra feature, we love these flowers most in our Halloween bouquets due to their brain, for the fact that their shape reminds us of the brain.

3. Chrysanthemum

The Chrysanthemum is not only a fall flower, but some of its colors are. For our autumn collection of flowers, the orange and yellow shaded chrysanthemums are an absolute must. The flower is not overruling and fits in almost every fall bouquet. Fun fact did you know it fits medical purposes when drunk as tea? It is believed to reduce high blood pressure and fulfills the purpose of being an anti-inflammatory.

4. Anigozanthos flower

Our own flower experts’ autumn flower choice is the Anigozanthos flower. It is much referred to as the kangaroo paw, due to its shape. It has a soft-looking appearance. Due to its deep yellow color, we prefer this one in our fall flower bouquets. This one is unique and is a must when it comes to fall flowers.

5. Green hydrangea

To close our list of fall flowers we have chosen the green hydrangea. Throughout the year the hydrangea features a wide variety of colors. This season is closed with the green variety. Just like the other varieties, green hydrangea is perfect in all different kinds of bouquets. We just love it. We look at it with a tear and a smile, because we appreciate its beauty, but know the hydrangea season is almost over.
