Spring flowers

Spring flowers capture a season of renewal, colour, and quiet joy. At Daily Flowers, our florists hand-select each stem from the freshest seasonal blooms, putting together bouquets that reflect the energy and softness of spring. We source directly from the grower, so every stem arrives in full, fresh bloom.

Our spring collection spans everything from pastel-toned mixed bouquets to bold, architectural arrangements. Each hand-tied creation is wrapped in our signature packaging and delivered by our own courier team across the Netherlands. Discover the full range at our Flagship Store in Amsterdam or order online for delivery to your door.

Spring flowers from Daily Flowers

Spring is the only season where the flowers arrive in a fixed order. Knowing that order is most of what you need, because it tells you what will be at its best in the week you want to send something.

What blooms when

Tulips and daffodils open the season and run from January into April. Hyacinth and grape hyacinth overlap with them and bring the scent. Ranunculus and anemone follow in March.

Lilac arrives late, around four weeks in May, and has the strongest scent of the group. Peonies close the season in May and June. If you want peonies, order in that window and not around it, because there is no substitute that looks like them.

A spring bouquet or a single variety

A mixed spring bouquet gives you the whole palette at once and hides the fact that some stems fade faster than others. A single-variety bunch is graphic and cheaper per stem.

Tulips are the obvious single variety and the one where the count shows. On our Dutch tulips you choose the amount yourself. A bunch of thirty in a plain glass vase still beats most mixed bouquets.

Keeping spring flowers longer

Tulips keep growing after cutting, up to a few centimetres, so a bunch that fitted the vase on Monday leans over it by Thursday. Cut them shorter than you think and use a vase with a narrow neck.

Daffodils leak a sap that shortens the life of everything else in the water. Stand them alone for a few hours after cutting, then rinse the stems before combining. Cold water rather than warm, and away from the fruit bowl.

Our spring bouquets

Absolutely Amazing Flowers is the one that goes out most. Pastel Princess and The Dreamier The Better sit at the softer end. Wonderfully Wild is looser and field-like. Peony Pink Ranunculus lets you pick the amount, and Pink Peony Princess is the showpiece once peony season starts.

Bright Sunshine and Le Soleil are the yellow ones, which is the colour most people forget about in spring and then order twice.
