Begin by selecting a clean vase. Wash it thoroughly with warm water and a mild antibacterial agent (like a small amount of bleach) to eliminate any lingering bacteria that could shorten the lifespan of the flowers.

2. Prepare and Fill with Fresh Water

Fill the vase halfway with room temperature water (30–45°C / 86–113°F). This temperature helps the flowers hydrate more efficiently after transport.

Important: You’ll receive a packet of flower food with your order—be sure to mix it into the water before placing the bouquet in the vase.

3. Trim the Stems at a 45° Angle

Using a sharp, clean knife or scissors, cut 1–2 cm off each stem at a 45-degree angle. This maximizes water absorption. Repeat this process every 2–3 days to maintain hydration and freshness.

4. Remove Leaves Below the Waterline
