Care Instructions
  1. Use a Clean Vase
Begin by selecting a clean vase. Wash it thoroughly with warm water and a mild antibacterial agent (like a small amount of bleach) to eliminate any lingering bacteria that could shorten the lifespan of the flowers.
  2. Prepare and Fill with Fresh Water
Fill the vase halfway with room temperature water (30 to 45 degrees Celsius). This temperature helps the flowers hydrate more efficiently after transport. Important: You will receive a packet of flower food with your order. Be sure to mix it into the water before placing the bouquet in the vase.
  3. Trim the Stems at a 45 degree Angle
Using a sharp and clean knife or scissors, cut 1 to 2 centimeters off each stem at a 45 degree angle. This maximizes water absorption. Repeat this process every 2 to 3 days to maintain hydration and freshness.
  4. Remove Leaves Below the Waterline
Any foliage or petals that would sit below the waterline should be removed. This reduces bacteria in the water and helps keep the bouquet fresh longer.
  5. Replace the Water Every 2 Days
Change the vase water every two days. Each time you do, rinse the vase thoroughly, add fresh water, and mix in the remaining flower food if provided.
  6. Display in a Cool Location
Place the bouquet in a cool and shaded area, away from direct sunlight, heating vents, and cold drafts. Extreme temperatures can stress the blooms and shorten their lifespan.
  7. Avoid Exposure to Ripening Fruit
Keep the flowers away from fruits like apples and bananas, which release ethylene gas that accelerates wilting.
  8. Handle Gently
The spray roses and chrysanthemums have delicate petals. When adjusting or refreshing the bouquet, do so gently to avoid bruising or breaking stems.
  9. Remove Wilting Flowers Promptly
If any flowers begin to wilt, remove them promptly. This prevents the release of ethylene and helps keep the rest of the bouquet fresh.
