Care Instructions
How to keep your Fall in the City bouquet fresh, bold, and elegant:
  1. Trim the stems
     Cut 1–2 cm off each stem at a sharp angle before placing in water. This allows the flowers to absorb water more efficiently.

  2. Prepare your vase
     Use a clean vase filled with fresh, cool water. Add flower food if provided.

  3. Remove excess leaves
     Strip away any leaves that would fall below the waterline to prevent bacterial growth.

  4. Refresh regularly
     Change the water every 1–2 days and re-trim the stems slightly each time to extend the bouquet’s life.

  5. Support the flowers
     If a calla or gloriosa begins to fade, remove it carefully so the rest of the bouquet stays fresh and balanced.

  6. Choose the right spot
     Keep your bouquet away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts to preserve its color and structure.

  7. Roses may arrive with guard petals, a few firmer outer petals that protect the bloom during transport. If preferred, they can be gently removed.
With just a little care, Fall in the City will keep shining — a vibrant tribute to autumn, stylish and unforgettable.

Monday to Friday, Trunkrs delivers across the whole of the Netherlands, Flanders and Brussels, between 17:00 and 22:30. PostNL delivers across the Netherlands and Belgium from Tuesday to Saturday. Daily Direct is our own delivery: on weekdays in the Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Hoofddorp and Aalsmeer region, at weekends across our whole own area in the Randstad.
