About Baobab Scented Candle - Sand Atacama

Crafted by our master glassmakers, the hand-blown glass of the Atacama candle reveals subtle shades of grey. Horizontal strata form grey stripes dotted with small, round organic splinters. This scented candle brings mineral elegance to your contemporary interiors.

Character: The citrus fragrance captures the vivid brightness of bergamot, like light shining through the mineral strata of the desert. Aromatic notes add depth and character before musk leaves its sensual trace, like a footprint in the sand.

Fragrance Notes: Bergamot – Earl Grey Tea – Musk.

Available in two sizes:

Care Instructions

To maintain the quality of your candle and ensure a perfect burn, please follow these care steps:

  • The First Burn: The first time you light your candle, allow it to burn until the entire surface has liquefied. This initial burn takes longer but prevents the formation of unattractive craters.
  • Full Liquid Surface: Each time the candle is burned, ensure the entire surface is liquid before extinguishing. This guarantees an even burn for the life of the candle.
  • Wick Maintenance: Keep the wicks trimmed to approximately 5 mm to ensure a clean flame and prevent smoke.
  • Safety: Never burn the last 1 cm (1/2 inch) of wax to avoid the flame burning directly against the glass.

Where we deliver

Monday to Friday we deliver across the whole of the Netherlands, Flanders and Brussels, between 17:00 and 22:30. At weekends we deliver in the Amsterdam and Utrecht regions and the Randstad, free of charge around Amsterdam and Utrecht. We do not deliver to the Wadden Islands.
