Assouline publishes by destination. Monte Carlo, Capri Dolce Vita, Saint-Tropez Yachting, Tokyo Chic. The books are large, heavy and printed to be left out rather than shelved, which is the whole idea of the format.
As a gift they work when you know where someone has been or where they want to go. As an object they work anywhere, because a stack of two or three carries a table on its own.
