Flowers for Ramadan and Eid

Flowers travel well as a gift here because they carry no dietary question and no religious symbol. They are simply a way of marking that you know what week it is for someone.

When to send

During Ramadan, flowers are for the iftar table rather than for the day. Delivered in the afternoon they are there when the family sits down after sunset.

Eid al-Fitr closes the month and is the day gifts are exchanged. Eid al-Adha follows about ten weeks later. Both move roughly eleven days earlier each year, so check the date rather than the month.

What to send

Generous and colourful rather than sombre. These are celebrations at the end of a demanding month, so pastel and bright both work and white on its own can read as sympathy.

A bouquet with something for the table travels furthest. Dates and chocolate are the traditional pairing. Our gift sets with bonbons suit an iftar or an Eid visit better than alcohol, which we leave out of these.

Ordering and delivery

We deliver Monday to Friday in the Netherlands, Flanders and Brussels. Orders placed before 09:00 arrive the same day, which matters when Eid falls midweek.

At weekends our own couriers take over and the cut-off moves to 10:00, covering the Randstad only. Shipping is EUR 7,00 in the Netherlands and free from EUR 50, EUR 9,95 in Flanders and Brussels and free from EUR 75.
